Living without Anxiety

Living without Anxiety

Are you living with anxiety?

Do you feel anxious most days?

Has anxiety become a permanent fixture in your life?

It doesn’t have to be this way. You can learn to calm, re-center and balance your body and your mind. After all, you deserve to feel good!

If you find yourself feeling anxious, worried, or even panicky, you are not alone. We live in a time when children and adults experience often overwhelming stress. If you are good at adjusting to adversity, you may be unaware of how high your stress levels might be. If you grew up in a stressful family environment, you may have learned to normalize high levels of stress.

Unfortunately we then live our adult lives unaware of how stressed we actually are. So what if someone said you could actually live free without anxiety? What would you do? If you are like most people, you might not even be aware of how stressed you are or you might think “everyone experiences anxiety” possibly true but probably not true.

But how do I experience less anxiety?

Most people need to experience less anxiety to even realize how anxious they are. So how do you do that? Maybe a vacation? Meditation, yoga, relaxing massages can help and so can psychotherapy. Really? Yes! You can experience different states of being that resonate more fully with you. And for most people once you experience how you are suppose to feel, you want to feel that way more of the time. There are many anxiety reducing skills you can learn from your therapist and they work!

Too good to be true?

Maybe but as you change your thought patterns your feelings and behaviors also change for the positive and you will find yourself engaging less in anxious thinking. Learning to reach for good feelings and stay positive as much as possible reduces stress and helps you feel more in control. You truly will be more present in your life, experience a sense of personal agency, and feel more empower to create the life you really want. Sounds pretty pretty good to me! And if it does to you, please reach out and let me know.
